Whatsapp only allows videos up to 64mb to be shared. This is really annoying if you have a cool little video you like to share with your friends. Now, you don't want to be that guy who sends on share in 12 different pieces. So what do you do? What if I said you do not have to buy any compression software or sign up on any shady websites?

It's annoying how many video format converter tools are there out in the wild. Wouldn't it be nice if you were able to compress a video to share in WhatsApp or any other application which has an upload limit?

The idea is to use facebook to do our compression for us. The steps are very easy:

1. Open Facebook.com

2. Sign in

3. Upload your video and in sharing, choose "only me"

4. After the upload has been finished,

5. Use our Private Facebook video downloader to download the compressed video.

Facebook's servers provide an incredible compression ratio that you cannot get anywhere else. They are the pros of web content. They know how to compress their videos.

Now you may go ahead and delete your video from facebook if you want but to be honest, It really doesn't matter if you don't.

That my friends, is how to send a large video in one piece in WhatsApp.
